I was at our Motorcycle Club meeting last night discussing this website and one of the men there gave me the idea of putting concrete in a gas tank. I cannot tell you for sure if concrete would react the same way it does with water and set in the bottom of the gas tank. I don’t have money to be throwing around to experiment with this and I have not been able to find an example of anyone trying this on the internet. If I do happen to find myself in possession of a bag of quickcrete at a later date I probably will mix it up with a little bit of gasoline to see if it works or not. I think it would only work inside of a gas tank because otherwise the gasoline would evaporate to quickly.
Quickcrete does contain gravel and that would be difficult to feed into a gas tank. You would have to use a metal screen to filter out the gravel before using a funnel to put it into the gas tank. This might take more than 1 bag depending on how many gallons of gas the car will hold. You wouldn’t have to fill the whole thing up, maybe just half the tank. You will also want to make sure you where gloves and a mask when filtering the gravel out of the quick crete. The reason for this is because concrete does contain lime which is caustic and would not be safe to breath in .
This one is seriously illegal so once again I cannot recommend that you do it.
